Chatham Capital is a mezzanine finance firm that concentrates on small to middle-market companies with sustainable cash flow from operations. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with additional offices in Dallas, TX and Providence, Rhode Island, Chatham principally invests in healthcare, manufacturing, and service companies with revenues and EBITDA of at least $10 million and $2 million, respectively. The Fund does not make early-stage, venture capital or real estate investments.
Although they consider investments located anywhere in the United States, most company activity is in the U.S. Southeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic states. Chatham typically makes an investment of $2 million to 60 million in the form of subordinated debt with interest paid monthly and nominally priced, detachable warrants to acquire an equity ownership position. In most cases, the firm’s subordinated loans have a three-to-five-year maturity and do not require principal repayments before maturity.
